Collection agency will once again spend the day enhancing parks and recreation area
Online PR News – 15-April-2013 – American Profit Recovery, a collection agency in Michigan will continue their Earth Day commitment by taking the day on April 19 to clean up and enhance the Proud Lake Recreation Area located in Commerce Twp, Michigan.
The company has been taking on Earth Day projects for a number of years as a way to participate in the Professional Landcare Networks PLANET Day of Service of which they are an endorsed partner. PLANET Day of Service is a national effort by the organization to enhance the green space in communities around the country.
American Profit Recovery adopted Proud Lake Recreation Area located in Commerce Twp in what was a two-year commitment. Keeping the pledge for the upkeep of the park also includes 400 hours of volunteer service. This year, APR will be building railings for boardwalks that go over marshlands, build and repair a number of picnic tables and paint one of the main buildings on the property.
Our company has helped countless businesses in the lawn care and landscaping industry improve their profitability with sound accounts receivables programs, states Matt Moskowitz, a partner at American Profit Recovery. Its a great feeling to give back to our community and do a little landscaping ourselves.
The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), an organization dedicated to advocating for companies in the landscaping and lawn care industry, created this event as a way for member companies and others to take on service projects that helped communities and charitable organizations.
In 2012, PLANET Day of Service saw approximately 150 service projects in the US and Canada that included over 2600 volunteer hours. Over $675,000 of time and in-kind services were donated to these projects.
