Online PR News – 31-May-2016 – This is an attention grabbing story of impending disaster (in more ways than one), company and personal greed, self-interest and human weakness. Dr. Thomas Kell has created one of the greatest breakthroughs in the history of the world. Mark Spencer knows that a powerful gravitational wave is coming through the Earth. He plans to use this event to complete his greatest power and money grab ever. When CDR, Kells employer, hires Mark to upgrade security, Dr. Kells and his new discovery become Marks new target. CDR is a dangerous target though and when the coming gravitational wave is discovered by the world, everything becomes more complicated for everyone. Dr. Kells creation may have plans of its own too.
This novel is not about aliens or outer space. It is about humanity in a not unlikely future.
Characters are well-defined and believable, much like the people walking about, but more interesting, devious and compelling. The two primary characters, Kell and Spencer, are opposites. One is a pillar of science, the other a dreg on society. Both are fueled by self-interest (in different directions), very intelligent, and willing to overlook certain moralities.
As the novel moves to conclusion, the intensity increases toward an unexpected ending.
