EVANSTON IL – 20 July, 2016 – The Stopshield is the safest and most effective means to present your documents to local law enforcement during a routine traffic stop! With minimum effort, you can easily slip this device on your car window so you can present yourself as non-threatening to the police.
Husband and wife, Anthony and Liz Green have teamed up to make the police officers’ and civilians’ lives safer everywhere. The invention, known as the Stopshield, is a small device for holding your driving documents which can be placed on the window in an event of a traffic stop. The idea is that by having a single place to store your insurance and registration card, a driver can place their license, FOID, and conceal and carry permit into the holder before driving. If pulled over, they can quickly and easily place the device on the window and proceed to place and keep their hands on the wheel with fingers visible for the officer.
“Traffic stops are extremely nerve racking for both officer and driver,” states Anthony Green one of the inventors. “Both parties should be focused on getting home alive, and I believe this invention will help make this situation just a little bit less tense.”
“My goal was to create something that can help make sure my husband comes home safe every night,” Liz Green states, given the current state of events across the United States. “Everyone has loved ones and everyone deserves to go home to them every night.”
Once production begins, the Stopshield will retail for $7.00. The project will be on Kickstarter for crowd funding to help bring this invention to fruition. The campaign will begin tomorrow, July 19 2016
Civilians and officers need to be proactive in order for this problem to be solved. The Stopshield is the answer.
