Online PR News – 16-July-2016 – Teli, a rapidly-growing national wholesale messaging and voice provider is releasing an Advanced Two-way SMS Messaging APP and private label API integration for Slack, the fastest-growing team collaboration platform with millions of users.
The Teli SMS for Slack integration will be released at the All About the API conference July 20, 2016 Las Vegas.
Teli currently handles more than 100 million messages a month in North America and is currently expanding into the international messaging market.
“As a wholesale messaging and voice provider, we are excited to be offering this to customers who wish to take advantage of the power of Slack integrated with Telis messaging services. We use Slack in our own offices and this product really came out of our own need and spin on customer service,” said Christopher Brown, CEO of teli.net "Its incredibly refreshing and useful. It really creates a truly great customer experience.
The Teli SMS for Slack app installs with one-click in less than three minutes and will enable Slack users to easily add two-way SMS to their Slack account. Customers can then send an SMS to a companys telephone number and the message will show up in the designated Slack channel. The Slack users can respond by the Slack app on their mobile device or from their computer logged into Slack while maintaining the company brand with customer engagement.
The Teli SMS for Slack app can transparently text-enable existing company phone numbers without any porting or delay, and, without disturbing existing voice traffic. Alternatively, each team or channel could have its own telephone number to receive inbound SMS messages (and voice calls) and respond accordingly. The Teli SMS for Slack app can be used to transform call centers, help desks, support teams and many other scenarios to allow customers to simply send a text message to start their interaction with the company.
